Mana Pools Photographic

If you have ever wanted to experience a true wilderness and the wildlife that roams its plains, Mana Pools is in my opinion is just that ….one of Africa’s true last bastions of truly wild places.

As a small bespoke Photographic Safari private guide and operator , I have decided to partner with a local and highly recommend service provider in Mana Pools to provide a unique and ORIGINAL adventure for photographers of all levels. But first , here is some important information about the destination itself , Mana Pools.

Mana Pools National Park  is a  WORLD HERITAGE SITE based on its pure wilderness and  beauty, It  is home to a wide range of mammals, over 350 bird species  and aquatic wildlife. Is has been  rated the 5th best park in Africa by Gateway magazine. Renowned World Heritage Site for its pure wilderness and beauty-(still has dinosaur prints) , TFCA- Transfrontier Conservation Area along with being a Bio-Sphere reserve- One of the world’s wildest and preserved natural ecological areas.

During the rains, most of the big game animals move away from the river and into the escarpment. They start returning around the month of April to the riverine areas, as the pans in the bush dry up. As the weeks progresses, increasingly large herds of elephants and buffalos become regular visitors, as well as kudu, eland, waterbuck, zebra, impala and many other antelope. The game is very relaxed about people on foot, making Manapools one of Africa’s best national parks for walking safaris.

This will be the main format of this adventure with daily drives into specific areas of the park where we then leave the vehicles and move around on foot with our very own private Zimbabwe Ranger and Guide. Please find below all of the information regarding this offer and opportunity for all those interested photographic travellers
